Designed to stimulate the senses and spark creativity, the clay workshop is open to children ages 5 to 10 during the July vacation at the Ceramics Studio.
Luiza Soares, a ceramic artist, architect, and urban planner, creates her artwork in the same studio as her mother, the artist Flávia Soares. Ancestry, family experiences, connections, and encounters have inspired this workshop, which encourages engagement with the earth (clay), a material with endless possibilities.
By engaging their sense of touch, smell, and the act of creating with their hands, participants develop skills and produce unique, personalized pieces.
We recommend wearing clothing appropriate for the activity.
